Based in Exeter, Devon our hospital are offering a permanent role for a Theatre practitioner / Scrub nurse and can offer up to £37,250 dependent on experience + £3,000 welcome bonus. You will be required to fulfil 37.5 hours of work per week including weekend work.

Supervise, support, and develop junior colleagues.

Deliver high-quality care and experiences for patients, which is always clinically effective, and evidence based.

Work collaboratively as part of the wider hospital team to ensure continuity in patient care.

Overtime, For clinical roles grade 9 and below, the overtime is at a standard rate of pay. For unsocial hours, you’ll be paid an additional enhancement to your salary at the following rates: Nights Hours worked between 7pm and 7am on any day of the week, 30% of basic hourly rate. Weekends Hours worked between 7am and 7pm on a Saturday or Sunday, 20% of basic hourly rate. Bank Holidays Hours worked between midnight and midnight of a bank holiday, 100% of basic hourly rate.

Requirements

As a Theatre Scrub Nurse, you’re registered with the appropriate governing body, plus you bring the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. You have post-registration experience and you’re flexible and motivated, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
