Our client has a blocking booking opportunity available just for you - looking for experienced orthopaedic scrub nurses to join their fantastic team for a block booking
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare the operating room and ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are ready for orthopaedic surgeries.
Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and anticipating the needs of the surgical team.
Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment throughout surgeries.
Monitor patients' vital signs and communicate any changes to the surgical team.
Document patient records accurately and contribute to the overall efficiency of the surgical process.
Collaborate with colleagues and surgeons to ensure smooth surgical procedures and patient safety.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with active registration and relevant certifications.
Proven experience as an Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse, demonstrating proficiency in orthopaedic surgical procedures.
Strong understanding of surgical instruments, protocols, and sterile techniques.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously within a team.
Dedication to delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining professional standards.
Flexibility to adapt to varying surgical schedules and block booking duration.
