Main Responsibilities:
To assist the Theatre Manager in developing the services offered by the Operating Department, in order to achieve desired levels of profitability and growth.
The standards and provision of patient care within the operating department.
Management of a defined area, including the deployment and supervision of staff within the department.
The provision of professional leadership and to assist in the development of practice for all junior staff.
Accountability for standards of care within designated area.
Involvement in the recruitment and selection of staff.
Deputise for Theatre Manager as required.
Co-ordinate Theatres as required.
Requirements:
Private healthcare experience (desirable)
NMC/HCPC registered
Relevant post registration courses appropriate to the post
