You will be joining a prestigious independent hospital located in one of London’s most sought‑after neighbourhoods, just moments from excellent transport links. Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to adult HDU patients

  • Provide continuous resident medical cover for acute and deteriorating patients

  • Work collaboratively with consultants, surgeons, anaesthetists, paediatric teams, nurses, and AHPs

  • Undertake timely assessments, manage acute issues, and escalate appropriately

  • Contribute to safe pre-operative, peri-operative, and post-operative management

  • Maintain meticulous documentation and ensure adherence to clinical governance standards

  • Support emergency responses and participate in the hospital’s 24/7 on-site medical team

  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and patient safety

Requirements
Essential
  • GMC registration with licence to practise

  • Previous clinical experience within the UK system

  • Experience in anaesthesia, acute medicine, intensive care, or critical care

  • Ability to manage deteriorating patients and acute presentations

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills

  • A proactive, calm, and safety‑driven approach to patient care

Desirable
  • Experience in paediatric anaesthesia or paediatric critical care

  • Familiarity with private healthcare

  • Evidence of leadership or service development

  • Interest in flexible or annualised rota structures
