Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for anaesthesia and monitor them during surgery
Administer anaesthetics and other medications as directed by the Anaesthetist
Manage patient airways and assist with intubation and extubation
Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety and comfort of patients
Ensure the anaesthetic environment is safe and well-stocked with equipment and supplies
Requirements:
Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration or HCPC
At least one year of experience in a theatre setting, with knowledge of various surgical specialties
Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team
Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality patient care
