You’ll join a renowned private hospital with a newly refurbished theatre suite equipped with cutting-edge technology. Our theatres support a wide range of specialties including Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, General Surgery, Vascular, Plastics, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Spinal, Urology, and ENT.
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) with no night shifts, offering a healthy work-life balance and the chance to work in a supportive, forward-thinking team.
Your Role
You will:
Lead and manage a small team within the orthopaedic theatre, supported by a Theatre Manager and Deputy.
Deliver exemplary planned care for patients undergoing elective procedures.
Act as a role model, demonstrating clinical excellence and leadership.
Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring development needs are met.
Oversee equipment and implant bookings, liaising with company representatives as needed.
Contribute to service improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of patient safety and care.
What We’re Looking For
You are:
A Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with current NMC/HCPC registration.
Experienced in orthopaedic scrub (minimum 3 years) and familiar with other specialties.
Skilled in team leadership and clinical supervision.
Passionate about patient care and service improvement.
Ideally holding a mentorship qualification and understanding of financial budgets.
