We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior MRI Radiographer to join our Imaging team based at in London, with a salary range of £42,962 - £52,500 on offer.
With a clinical team of over 65 staff, the Imaging Department offers a full range of imaging services including CT, Interventional Radiology, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Breast Imaging and Molecular Imaging. The dedicated MRI team operates a department with 3 scanners, 2 x 1.5T and a 3T - all Siemens, and located in the main hospital, the cancer wing and the Outpatient Centre. We are looking to install a 4th scanner, another 3T, early next year.

Requirements
HCPC registered.
MRI experience covering a wide range of clinical examinations and applications.
Have a good understanding of legislation relating to Health & Safety, including Radiation Protection, COSHH, RIDDOR and Fire Safety.
Demonstrate commitment to radiographic modalities through CPD/protocol development within a radiographic area.
Duties
Scanning patients, working closely with the Band 7 Radiographers. To know when to seek help.
Ensure a high standard of patient care, and participate in the monitoring of standards.
Ensure that any person entering the MRI scanner is appropriately safety checked in accordance with departmental policy.
Utilise department protocols and set standards to continually undertake MRI procedures of the highest quality.
