An established and expanding private healthcare provider in London is seeking a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join their women’s health team. With multiple modern clinics across the city including a new location opening soon, this organisation is committed to delivering outstanding, personalised care to every patient.

Your Role

As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will:

  • Deliver attentive, compassionate care to women attending our clinics, supporting consultants and nurses throughout the patient journey.

  • Act as a chaperone during consultations, ensuring privacy and dignity at all times.

  • Prepare clinical areas before and after appointments, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

  • Collect blood samples and manage specimens, ensuring accurate labelling and timely dispatch.

  • Record vital signs and communicate findings to the clinical team.

  • Identify and report any equipment issues promptly, ensuring smooth clinic operations.

  • Uphold the highest standards of infection control, safety, and confidentiality.

  • Support compliance with regulatory standards and contribute to ongoing quality improvement.

  • Work flexibly across our London sites, including our new Richmond clinic from October 2025.

What We’re Looking For
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care.

  • Previous experience working on hospital wards and within gynaecology is essential.

  • Skilled in phlebotomy and specimen handling.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.

  • A team player who thrives in a multicultural, multidisciplinary setting.

  • Committed to maintaining confidentiality, dignity, and respect for all.

  • Willing to go above and beyond to support patients and colleagues.
