An established and expanding private healthcare provider in London is seeking a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join their women’s health team. With multiple modern clinics across the city including a new location opening soon, this organisation is committed to delivering outstanding, personalised care to every patient.
Your Role
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will:
Deliver attentive, compassionate care to women attending our clinics, supporting consultants and nurses throughout the patient journey.
Act as a chaperone during consultations, ensuring privacy and dignity at all times.
Prepare clinical areas before and after appointments, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
Collect blood samples and manage specimens, ensuring accurate labelling and timely dispatch.
Record vital signs and communicate findings to the clinical team.
Identify and report any equipment issues promptly, ensuring smooth clinic operations.
Uphold the highest standards of infection control, safety, and confidentiality.
Support compliance with regulatory standards and contribute to ongoing quality improvement.
Work flexibly across our London sites, including our new Richmond clinic from October 2025.
What We’re Looking For
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care.
Previous experience working on hospital wards and within gynaecology is essential.
Skilled in phlebotomy and specimen handling.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
A team player who thrives in a multicultural, multidisciplinary setting.
Committed to maintaining confidentiality, dignity, and respect for all.
Willing to go above and beyond to support patients and colleagues.
