Your Role as Scrub Nurse

As a key member of the theatre team, you will be responsible for:

  • Scrubbing and circulating for a wide range of surgical procedures

  • Preparing theatres and maintaining sterile environments

  • Monitoring patients throughout surgery and ensuring safe transitions to recovery

  • Managing surgical instruments, inventory and infection control

  • Supporting theatre leads and contributing to continuous improvement

  • Participating in emergency drills, training sessions and mentorship programmes

What You’ll Bring

You’re dedicated and detail oriented nurse who is passionate about patient care and committed to maintaining the highest standards in surgical nursing.

Essential:

  • NMC registration and eligibility to practice in the UK

  • 1+ year experience as a Scrub Nurse in the UK

  • 6+ months experience in PACU

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Passion for patient care and clinical excellence

What’s In It for You?

This role offers:

-          Salary: £36,000–£38,000 + shift enhancements (OTE £45,000)

-          Contract: Full-time, 40 hours/week, flexible shifts (Monday–Sunday)

-          No overnight shifts

-          Taxi service for late finishes
