You’ll be part of a highly specialised Digestive Diseases Unit, supporting patients undergoing complex gastro-intestinal and colorectal procedures. Working alongside expert consultants and a multidisciplinary team, you’ll deliver safe, evidence-based care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
As a Staff Nurse, you will:
Deliver exceptional standards of evidence-based nursing care across the surgical pathway.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients undergoing complex GI and colorectal procedures.
Manage your own caseload as a named nurse, ensuring patient safety, dignity and comfort.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to maintain the highest standards of clinical practice.
Requirements
NMC Registered Nurse.
Previous experience in acute surgical wards.
Competence in post-operative care, including epidural and PCA management, venepuncture/cannulation and enteral/parenteral feeding.
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-centred approach.

Competitive Salary: £38,000 – £43,000 per annum.
