Our client is looking for an experienced and talented Registered Nurse to join their dynamic and vibrant team responsible for Outpatients in Reading. Their Outpatients department has over 15 clinical specialties including orthopaedics, general surgery, gynaecology and plastic surgery. All of the clinics in outpatients offer a huge variety of interventions and treatments. The types of interventions you're likely to be involved in range from blood taking to investigations of the bladder; urodynamics, to investigations and interventions in gynaecology - transvaginal ultrasounds, colposcopy, smears, contraceptive options. Our client also have fertility clinics here which support early pregnancy. They have a growing minor procedures department which focuses on dermatological or plastics interventions such as mole removals, early cancer diagnostic, aesthetic support, botox or steroid treatments.

Requirements
Registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / BSc in Nursing.
Evidence of relevant clinical professional development preferably evidenced by certification RN with valid NMC Registration.
Up-to-date knowledge in area of practice.
Previous experience working within the acute healthcare sector.
Duties
To ensure that standards of patient care are consistently maintained at all times in accordance with agreed operational policies and procedures.
Working to maintain and enhance the customer service and satisfaction of service users.
As a skilled member of the nursing team promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all patients, employees and visitors.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care.
Prepare and maintain clinical records of patient care, with reference to Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) standards for records and record keeping.
Conduct yourself professionally within the standard and framework provided by the NMC Codes of professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
