Your Role in Cardiology

As a Registered Nurse – Stress Echocardiography, you will:

  • Prepare patients for stress echo and exercise testing, ensuring comfort and informed consent.
  • Monitor patients during procedures, including ECG, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
  • Assist consultants and cardiac physiologists during advanced diagnostic procedures.
  • Perform cannulation for contrast administration and respond promptly to clinical changes.
  • Participate in resuscitation huddles and maintain readiness for emergency situations.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with clinical governance standards.
  • Support audits, service improvements, and mentor junior staff.

 

What We’re Looking For

You are:

  • NMC Registered Nurse (Adult) with cardiology or acute care experience.
  • Skilled in ECG interpretation and arrhythmia recognition.
  • Competent in cannulation and emergency response protocols.
  • Certified in BLS/ILS (ALS desirable).
  • A confident communicator and team player with a patient-first mindset.
