Position Overview: As a Radiographer Nurse, you will be an essential part of our medical imaging team, contributing to accurate and timely diagnoses for our patients. This temporary block booking presents a unique chance for you to showcase your expertise, collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, and provide high-quality care to our diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of radiographic procedures, including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans, as prescribed by physicians.
Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnoses.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control measures.
Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
Contribute to the overall efficiency and quality of the medical imaging department.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with active registration and relevant certifications.
Previous experience as a Radiographer Nurse is preferred.
Strong knowledge of medical imaging techniques and equipment.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and high-quality diagnostic images.
