Are you tired of being underappreciated in your current role?

Or client is seeking an experienced Pre and Post Operative Nurse with cosmetic or surgical clinic experience to support patients across the full perioperative pathway. You will be responsible for delivering safe, high-quality nursing care before and after cosmetic surgical procedures, ensuring patients are clinically prepared, well-informed and safely recovered and discharged.

This is a patient-facing role requiring strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication, attention to detail, and a calm, reassuring manner. Cosmetic surgery experience is highly desirable

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-operative assessments for cosmetic surgery patients.

  • Review medical history, medications, allergies, and risk factors.

  • Ensure consent, documentation, and safety checks are complete.

  • Prepare patients physically and emotionally for procedures.

  • Provide clear pre-procedure education and instructions.

  • Escalate clinical concerns appropriately prior to surgery.

  • Deliver immediate post-operative and recovery nursing care.

  • Monitor vital signs, pain levels, and clinical status.

  • Provide discreet, compassionate, and reassuring patient care.

  • Support anxious or nervous patients undergoing elective procedures.

Qualifications & Registration (Essential)
  • Registered Nurse with current unrestricted registration.

  • Nursing Degree or Diploma in Nursing.

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Desirable:

  • Perioperative or recovery qualification.

  • Advanced Life Support (ALS).

  • Cosmetic surgery or minor surgery certification.

Experience (Essential)
  • Experience in pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.

  • Experience in surgical, theatre, day surgery, or procedural settings.

  • Strong knowledge of perioperative safety and recovery care.

  • Experience in patient assessment and discharge processes.

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience in cosmetic surgery or aesthetic clinics.

  • Experience supporting elective surgical patients.

  • Experience with wound care and post-procedure follow-up.
