This post would be ideally suited for a radiographer wishing to develop their orthopaedic imaging experience.
Clinical work will involve a mix of orthopaedic X-rays, theatre II work and imaging administration every day. There is also an MRI training program for this role. You will be expected to have excellent communication skills while working within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure a timely and effective imaging service is maintained at all times.
We currently has 3 Outpatient and diagnostic centres. In Marylebone which houses a Siemens 1.5T MRI scanner and X-ray room. Our city clinic is home to a 3T Siemens scanner and an additional X-ray room. Our surgical centre in Marylebone has 3 GE image intensifiers which are used for a variety of Orthopaedic procedures. This year we are also opening a third Outpatient and diagnostic centre in Wimbledon which will contain 3T MRI and X-ray facilities.
