A leading healthcare organisation in Southwest London is seeking a Occupational Therapist to join its specialist clinical team. This is a permanent, full-time role offering the chance to work across diverse service areas, supporting patients with complex neurological conditions.
You’ll be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering patient-centred care, helping individuals with severe neuro-disabilities achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an Occupational Therapist, you will:
Provide specialist assessment and treatment for patients with complex neurological needs.
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalised rehabilitation programmes.
Support patients in developing functional skills for daily living and independence.
Participate in postural management programmes, including splinting and seating assessments.
Attend key meetings such as safeguarding, best interest and discharge planning.
Supervise and support Occupational Therapy Assistants and students.
Recommend and arrange appropriate aids, adaptations and community visits as part of discharge planning.
Maintain accurate documentation and outcome measures in line with HCPC and professional standards.
What We’re Looking For
Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy (HCPC registered)
Minimum of 18 months post-qualification experience, including at least 6 months in neuro-disability
Strong understanding of evidence-based practice and physical assessment for complex neuro presentations
Ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
Experience in postural management and splinting (desirable)
Familiarity with long-term neurological conditions and rehabilitation pathways
What You’ll Receive
Salary: £40,000 – £53,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Full-time hours: 37.5 per week
