Are you a compassionate and dedicated nurse looking for your next career move? Our dynamic Acute Surgical Wards are seeking a Band 5 Staff Nurse to provide exceptional care to our patients.

This position requires a compassionate and dedicated individual who is committed to delivering safe, effective, and patient-centered care. The Staff Nurse collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while maintaining professional standards and adhering to relevant policies and guidelines.

Our nurse to patient ratio is usually 1:4 which means that we can offer excellent individualised nursing care.

This is the ideal role for a nurse wishing to develop and extend both their clinical and leadership experience in surgical nursing



Maintain a healthy work-life balance with our flexible shift pattern. You’ll work 37.5 hours per week with an internal rotation that includes day, night, and weekend shifts, allowing you to accommodate your personal commitments.

Our roster offers a well-structured shift pattern with 12-13 shifts within a 4-week period. You’ll experience both long days (07:30 AM – 08:30 PM) and Nights (08:00 PM – 08:00 AM), providing you with a diverse and engaging work experience.

Registered General Nurse with valid NMC pin

A positive, proactive approach and committed to delivering the highest standards of care

Be able to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills



Assess, plan and deliver care to meet patient needs, working closely with the Consultants, nursing colleagues and clerical staff.

Ensure accurate and comprehensive nursing records are maintained

Maintain own continuing professional development in accordance with CPD requirements and contribute to formulation of own objectives and personal development plan
