Our luxury private healthcare clients Based in London are looking for a skilled Healthcare Assistant with phlebotomy. Required to fulfil 37.5 hours per week, this is a full time permanent role paying up to £33,000 plus benefits dependent on experience and skillset.

Responsibilities

  • Provide respectful and supportive chaperoning for patients during clinical consultations.

  • Ensure all clinical areas including consulting, treatment and waiting rooms are clean, well-organized, and appropriately prepared before and between patient visits.

  • Perform phlebotomy procedures, including the safe and accurate collection of blood samples.

  • Manage clinical specimens by correctly labelling them and coordinating courier services for timely delivery to laboratories.

  • Conduct routine patient observations, accurately record findings and promptly report results to the nurse in charge or attending consultant.

  • Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions immediately, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken.

  • Uphold health and fire safety standards within the clinic environment.

  • Adhere to infection prevention protocols and handle sharps safely and responsibly.

  • Stay current with all mandatory training and professional development requirements.

Requirements

  • NVQ level 3 or higher (Essential)

  • Relevant Care Certificates

  • Phlebotomy experience (Essential)

  • Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant within hospital or clinic environment, preferably within
    women’s health and in the private sector.

  • Excellent customer care and communication skills.
