You’ll be leading a specialist facility for minimally invasive day surgery and outpatient diagnostics, offering procedures such as Cryo AF Ablation, Permanent Pacemaker Implantation, Orthopaedic and Gastrointestinal interventions, all delivered in a purpose built, patient first environment.
You’ll be at the forefront of a growing network of day centres across the UK, helping shape the future of surgical care.
As Centre Director, you will be the strategic and operational heartbeat of the centre. You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team, drive performance and ensure optimum experience for patients, staff and other stakeholders.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Operational Oversight
Lead and coordinate daily centre activities, including staffing and service provision
Manage agreements and performance expectations with external collaborators and partner facilities
Ensure the environment remains safe, hygienic and appropriately resourced
Quality & Compliance Leadership
Act as the designated manager for regulatory bodies (e.g., CQC)
Spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing service quality and meeting compliance standards
Participate in and lead governance forums and quality assurance panels
Financial Stewardship
Develop and oversee financial plans and expenditure
Promote efficient use of personnel and resources to maintain cost-effectiveness
Review operational metrics and initiate corrective strategies where needed
Team Development & Support
Handle recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews
Encourage a workplace culture focused on learning, growth and excellence
Monitor staffing levels to ensure safety and support career progression
Health, Safety & Risk Control
Uphold safety standards including hazardous substance regulations (e.g., COSHH)
Work closely with facilities and safety teams to identify and mitigate risks
Ensure all equipment is maintained to required standards and service agreements are upheld
