Responsibilities
As a Consultant in General (Internal) Medicine, you will:
Diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Provide continuous care for patients with complex needs.
Work across general medical wards and surgical wards for medical outliers.
Contribute to departmental development, audits and clinical governance.
Take on educational and leadership responsibilities.
Requirements
Full GMC registration and MRCP (UK) or equivalent.
On Specialist Register in General Internal Medicine (or CESR submitted and within 6 months).
Proven experience in inpatient and outpatient management of general medical patients.
Strong leadership, teaching and communication skills.
Commitment to continuous improvement and patient-centred care.
