Duties & Responsibilities:
To take responsibility for individualised patient care acting as the named nurse, using a Holistic approach for all patients.
To adopt a holistic, pro-active, and dynamic approach to patients with oncological/haematological care needs.
Awareness of the Holistic Needs Assessment programme, and to promote partnership with patients in their care.
To ensure legibility and accuracy of nursing records and to be aware of the legal implications of these documents.
Requirements:
RGN with valid NMC registration.
Cancer foundation course/module with Chemotherapy administration experience.
At least 6 months malignant haematology experience.
Knowledge of basic chemotherapy protocols for Haematological malignant diseases.
