Duties:

  • To frequently prepare for, participate in and attend ward rounds and other multi-professional meetings.
  • To ensure a high standard of nursing in the application of clinical nursing procedures and treatments including the custody, storage and administration of medicines.

Requirements 

  • Previous experience working in IPC role,
  • Previous experience working within the acute healthcare sector. 
  • Ability to manage difficult and complex situations.
  • Ability to provide or/and support staff in feedback of microbiological results

Job Requirements

  • To be considered you need to be a Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration and significant experience working within an acute healthcare setting as a Senior Lead or equivalent in the nursing environment - surgical Outpatient and pre-assessment experience is highly desirable.
