Requirements 

  • As a qualified practitioner with NMC registration you will use your skills and knowledge to work well within a team, adopting a flexible and collaborative approach at all times.  
  • If you are an enthusiastic, highly motivated Registered Nurse with proven skills in Critical Care you will find a place to thrive at our client.
  • Relevant critical care experience essential, cardiac ICU experience preferable but not required and successful candidate must hold a critical care qualification.

Requirements 

  • Registered Nurse used to working with minimum supervision and experience of working in an Acute environment.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • A surgical background is desirable but we are happy to consider Nurses with an interest in developing their experience in this field.

Duties

  • You will be provide leadership for our surgical ward team, providing post-operative care to our patients, assisting in their recovery and getting them ready for discharge – this will include wound care, assisting with personal care and providing emotional support at what can be a stressful time. 
  • You will liaise with patients, their families and consultants giving advice and making recommendations to improve the patients’ wellbeing, whilst also being adept at identifying a deteriorating patient and making on the spot, informed decisions.

Outpatient Department Nurse

Requirements 

  • You will be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and essentially have a high standard of acute clinical experience within a hospital setting. 
  • Previous experience within an outpatient department is desirable along with phlebotomy skills.

Main duties

  • Run nurse led dressing and phlebotomy clinics and assist in pre-operative investigations
  • Carry out any other duties delegated by the OPD Manager / team leader for the proper and efficient care of the patient's and the smooth running of the department
  • Chaperone and assist Consultants during examination of the patient's and minor surgical procedures and assists in arranging investigations requested by Consultants
  • Complete Outpatient documentation to a high standard including care pathways for minor operations and procedures
  • Liaising with patients, consultants and other members of the multidisciplinary team
  • Assist patients with booking appointments

Theatre Practitioner

If so, we are currently working in partnership with one of the biggest Private Hospital Organisations in the UK.

Their Hospital in Rochdale, Greater Manchester is currently looking for Theatre Practitioner to join their team of staff in their Theatre department.

This is a full-time position for 37.5 hours a week

Requirements

  • You will need to meet the following Criteria:
  • Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration
  • Approved/recognised anaesthetic course.
  • To work across multiple surgical specialities in either the scrub or anaesthetic role
  • Qualified nurse or ODP - mentorship preferable but not essential.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Company Competencies
  • Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills across a range and varied patient case mix and competent across a range of skills (Desirable)
  • ENB 998 and/or mentorship course and/or D32/33/A1 (Desirable)
