Requirements

  • Competence across a range of skills,
  • Supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration/practitioner qualification and additional training is also desirable.

Duties

  • The Hospital covers a wide variety of surgical procedures
  • You will support in assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient’s needs. 
  • You will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements
  • Collect collate and organise data

Requirements

  • Registered Practitioner with NMC or HPC registration
  • Experience in Orthopaedic Scrubbing for major orthopaedic surgeries 
  • Good communication skills
  • Good team player

Duties

  • You will support in assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex caseload and assist in the delivery of care to meet the patient’s needs. 
  • You will be responsible for patient care
  • Setting up for cases and assisting in the day to day running of theatres. 
  • As an Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse, you will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements. 
  • To make justifiable patient assessments you will collate and organise data so you are able to interpret the information to your colleagues.

Duties

  • Working flexibly, as part of the hospital’s clinical team, you will provide the highest standards of nursing care to our patients; maintain high standards of communication throughout the hospital, and make a positive contribution towards the team’s pursuit of excellence.
