You will be based at Jarvis Breast Centre in Surrey; one of the largest NHS breast screening services in England. And you’ll be working alongside some of the top mammographers in the country to provide accurate and efficient screenings to NHS and Private patients.
Responsibilities
Supporting the business in the delivery of the NHSBSP National Programme
Being a Line Manager for Radiographic Assistants in the Hub Department
Being a clinical and professional lead for the radiographic aspects of the service provided by the Jarvis
Practicing radiographer lead by example to provide a high level of technical skill and ensure a caring and individual experience for the client
Having a knowledge of all systems of work, policies and procedures which support the organization to maintain efficiency.
Requirements
The ability to listen and communicate effectively, using a variety of methods bearing in mind the diverse nature of the clients who attend breast screening
Understanding of their own strengths and limitations, and able to seek support where required
The ability to work co-operatively, across organisational boundaries, cultures and diversity to achieve shared goals for the breast screening service and for the organisation
The ability to maintain and demonstrate the appropriate and Necessary technical knowledge for breast imaging and continuing to refinerelevant analytical/technical skills as well as professional judgement
BSc in Radiography
PG Cert in Mammography
Current HCPC registration
