Do you want to work nights in a warm, welcoming home where you feel truly valued?

You’ll be joining a deeply respected, award‑winning care home known locally for exceptional standards, a friendly atmosphere, and a strong commitment to meaningful resident relationships. Here, residents don’t simply live in our workplace — we work in their home.

Every shift is about warmth, dignity, connection and making each person’s night as comfortable and fulfilling as possible.

This is the perfect environment if you want to make a real difference, work with a supportive team and deliver care you can be proud of.

The Role

As our Night RGN, you will lead the home overnight, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate and personalised care during quieter hours. You’ll create calm, comfort and reassurance, while maintaining clinical excellence and supporting the night care team.

You’ll be the steady, reassuring presence residents rely on and the leader your colleagues look to for guidance and positivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the night shift with confidence, positivity and warmth

  • Assess, plan and implement person‑centred care for elderly residents

  • Administer and document medications safely in line with clinical and regulatory standards

  • Monitor residents’ wellbeing throughout the night, recognising changes and acting promptly

  • Maintain dignity, respect and genuine compassion in every interaction

  • Create detailed, personalised care plans that enable each resident to “live their best life”

  • Support end‑of‑life and dementia residents with empathy and patience

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with residents, families and colleagues

  • Promote a homely, nurturing atmosphere during night hours

  • Support junior staff and ensure the shift runs smoothly and safely

Night shifts here are calm, meaningful and deeply rewarding — perfect for a nurse who leads with heart.
